Bealtaine Festival : Running each May, Bealtaine presents a month-long programme that invites people aged 50+ to engage with arts and culture as audience, artist, critic or participant. See www.bealtaine.com Amen Support Group Meetings have recommenced on a Monday Evening in Navan from 8.00pm – 10.00pm. The Group Meetings are a support for men who suffer domestic abuse or are going through separation. The meetings will cover issues of Stress, Anxiety, Anger, Grief and New Beginnings. Please call 046 9023718 for further information. “Mature Movers” Activity Programme for Older Adults 50+commences on Wednesday 8th February at 11am in Summerhill Community Centre. This 8 week programme will include activities such as Movement for Life, seated Pilates, core stability and Balance, Bowls and more.For more info contact Meath Local Sports Partnership on 046-9067337. Summerhill GFC dinner Dance / presentation night was held on Friday 13th in Knightsbrook Hotel.The club were celebrating the winning of the senior championship in 2011. Sean Boylan presented our Keegan Cup winning team of 2011 with their medals on the night. The club made a special presentation to Declan McCabe (Senior Team Manager) and his two selectors Declan McDonnell and Jackie Ennis. The club also commemorated the team of 1986 on the Silver Jubilee of the winning of the Keegan Cup.Club presentation were made to the player of the year Adrian Kenny, the undergage player of the year was Kevin Lyons and the club person of the year was Maree Malone A special presentation was made to Tim McNulty for his achievement in 2011 of winning the Irish National and Tarmac Rallys. Jenny Rispin, on behalf of the Ladies Committee, made a presentation to Ciara Kennedy on her retirement from football.Photos from the dinner dance can be bought from Ken Butterfield on his website www.kenbutterfield.com Lotto result from 14/1/12. Monster Auction in the Community Centre on Sunday 26 February at 3pm is to raise funds for community development in Summerhill area. Funds raised will be the ‘local contribution’ towards costs. All homes in the community will be visited and are invited to contribute one or more auction items. Scoil Dara Kilcock Adult Education enrolment on this Mon 23rd & Wed 25 Jan from 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Please pray for Simon Lynch (father of John Lynch of Freffans) who was buried in Kerry last week. RIP.
